Which objective do you pick?

I just wondered how other people pick their calorie objective. I pick the ice cream cone. I picked it because I can attain that number of calories in a half hour's jog. But I wonder if this is the best way to pick the objective.

I'm also not certain if the objective is the treat one is supposed to be able to eat after exercising and dieting normally or whether it is just a symbol for a certain amount of calories. Any ideas?

I picked the ice cream cone because it is an attainable amount of calories for me with the time I have. I think they just picked foods that equal different numbers of calories instead of asking do you want to burn 50, 100, 150? It would defeat the purpose of the workout to eat the treat unless you are one of those people who can eat all they want and stay skinny. I also wonder how tiny is that ice cream cone?

Well, the Wii says that it's 100g.

I've picked the slice of cheese - cheese is my weakness, and it's something that's an around-the-house-snack (if you know what I mean?) so it brings it into sharp focus that I need to do X time on the Wii Fit to burn off a very small amount of cheese. I find that choosing something more exotic (like chocolate, icecream, or something that we don't have in the house) just puts a craving into my head. :P

Where do you do this? I haven't seen it on Wii Fit Plus. :?: :?:

You can pick your objective in the 'My Wii Fit Plus' section. You get to that section by pressing the button on the training screen or by using the door on the calendar screen.

Once in the 'My Wii Fit Plus' section, you pick the 'Calories' button and that gives you a list of the calories in things. It also has a button that allows you to pick your objective calories.

Once you have set your objective, as you exercise, the Wii Piggy will tell you how many more calories you need to meet your objective.

Yes, it would be nice if it were more calories to eat rather than more calories to burn, wouldn't it?

So did you pick an objective?

Though it is traumatic, I am trying to hold off being too wrapped up in this until my class is over. That will be some time in April. Then I will do that and get more exercise as well. For now, just more calories. :D
