Here is a new trailer for EA Sports Active - More Workouts (which has to be one of the lamest names ever for a game).
In short, you get 35 new exercises, including warm up and cool-down stretches, and more muscle work for your abs, both of which are areas that the original was sorely lacking in. I'm especially looking forward to having proper warm-ups; I've always found the start of the workouts to be a little too abrupt, especially if you do them first thing in the morning.

I`ve got the Ea Sports Active and it gives me a really good workout. I`ve just pre-ordered the extra workouts from Amazon (yea, I agree its a lame name for it!). The pre-set workout are excellent. I am looking forward to doing the abs workout on the new one because the orginal does`nt have it.
I`ve tried going to a gym but got bored. This is here when I need it.

That pretty much sums up my attitude. The gym's ok, but yes, I get pretty bored of it as well.
I'm really looking forward to the EA Sports update. Wii Fit Plus has got me back into that, but I like to mix them up, alternating each day. It makes it a bit more interesting, and I think it's good for your body to make your exercise as varied as possible.

I`m sure there will be a lot more posts on here when the new one comes out. I had an email to say I should expect it to arrive on Nov 23rd. Thats OK, I`ve got Wii Fit Plus and EA Sports Active to keep me occupied. I`ve also got an exercise bike that I use aswell - but not all at the same time!

That looks really good. I noticed the people in the video have something strapped to their thigh, I presume this holds the wii-mote so that leg exercises can be registered.
Strikerboots, I hope you can come back next week and give us your opinion on it.

What does the EA stand for? I guess this is a Wii game but not related to Wii Fit? I'd like to try it since abs are my biggest issue. And.... there is a "new one"? Does that mean Wii Fit Plus Plus? Maybe it has more ab workouts?
Edited to say, Ah- the new one. Yoga.

EA stands for Electronic Arts, the name of the company that makes it. They make a lot of sports games. I just picked up my copy of More Workouts last night. Only had a few minutes to play around with it this morning but it looks great. I have the original Personal Trainer it is good too. I like to mix it up with some of the workouts from Active and some things from Fit and Fit Plus.

I`m half way through the 6 weeks challenge and not got bored yet. You never actually know what set of exercises you are going to get. Each exercise has an instructional video to go with it. It automatically plays the first time you do a particular exercise. I like the warm up at the start of each exercise (very important) and also the cool-down at the end. These were missed on the original. Also missing on the original was ab exercises which is inluded on this disc. The running exercises really make you work because you have to outrun other athletes on the track. You have to pass them to score a point so you really work up a sweat. If you follow that with Cardio Boxing you really are working out!
Even though I am half way through the 6-week challenge I`ve also set up my own personal workout to do AFTER my session. The 6-weeker is roughly about 30 mins so I decided to add an extra 30 mins to it. I`ve chosen ab and cardio because thats my target areas. My workout is about 60mins per day.
Its a good exercise package and I would`nt class it as a game.
